GANAPTI FESTIVAL 2024
Vidya Bhavan College's Ganpati Festival is an annual celebration dedicated to Lord Ganesha, organized with great enthusiasm by the students, faculty, and staff. The festival usually includes a traditional installation of a beautifully decorated Ganesha idol, followed by daily aartis (prayer rituals), cultural performances, and various competitions showcasing students' talents. The event fosters a sense of community and togetherness within the college, allowing students to express their creativity and devotion. The festival culminates with the idol’s immersion (visarjan), which is often accompanied by a vibrant procession, signifying the departure of Ganesha with promises of his return next year.
